On the 16th of June 2011, the President and CEO of the ARBC attended the Russia Day celebrations in Canberra, which was put on by the Russian embassy in the National Gallery of Australia. On Wednesday the 23rd of February the ARBC held its inaugural event for 2011, a Roundtable on Business and Investment Opportunities in Tomsk Region. Among the business leaders, academics and university students present at the seminar, the key speaker for the event was the First Deputy Governor of Tomsk region, Ms Oksana Kozlovskaya. Ms Kozlovskaya gave a thorough breakdown of the great potential that the Tomsk region presents to investors. The other speakers included Mr Vagif Soultanov (ARBC president and Chairman of Solagran Limited) and Mr Alexander Kurganov (Director of Solagran Son).
